| Introduction | I attempt to live a life of simple elegance in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains; however, as you might guess about life on a small farm, the elegance part sometimes goes missing! We try to be as self-sufficient as possible, raising Nubian goats for milk and cheese, chickens for fresh eggs, bee hives, a huge and demanding vegetable garden, and an orchard. Our most treasured asset is our family. We live with multi-generations on the property, by choice, with our children and grand-children, enjoying each other's company. Life is busy, sometimes demanding, and always quite interesting. |
