| Introduction | Also known as Inmate R0513 _______________________________________ This blog is about my day-to-day experiences in the women’s state penitentiary, a world and society unlike any I ever imagined existed. _______________________________________ The experiences are true. The names have been changed to protect the… umm…. criminals. ______________________________________ I thought life as a suburban soccer mom was unique until I was falsely convicted of disorderly conduct and sentenced to prison. There I learned that nothing is as unique as the “society” residing in women’s prisons. Falsely arrested, falsely convicted, and sentenced to prison. But this is where I am, an unwilling observer in a world very few people ever knew existed. _______________________________________ Somehow, I’ll find the strength to make the best of it. |
