Interests	Most of you know me personally (and if you don't, it's really not about me anyway), so I'm not going to talk about "me" but about why I am doing this blog. This platform enables me to share family stories of my (and for many of you readers--our) spirited, determined "farmer" ancestors. It also allows me to share simple current-day stories about relatives & friends that have significant meaning that can provide strength and encouragement, also. My prayer is that while you read of the exploits of my (our) ancestors, you can reconnect to these familial pioneers; may the accounts of their experiences internally fortify and promote purposeful navigation in the 21st century, solidify present relationships, and give each of us the courage to leave a heritage as rich as the one we have received.
