Introduction	Well, more likely than not, if you are visiting my blog you have probably stopped me and my family on the street (in public). We are an average family with extraordinary members. While many pieces of my blog are soley informational, much of our life is 'typical', just like yours. If you happen to be dealing with or learning that you have a family member with special needs. Just remember; There is Hope!
Interests	I would have to say the old standard answer, travel. Most recent was Nicaragua. It was the first place I have been in many years of travel that still felt off the beaten path. I enjoy listening to my I-Pod, podcasts like the BBC and The Moth are favorites. I also like to sing in my car where people may flee at their own risk. Additionally, I have a great appreciation for wildlife, dogs and gardening.
Favorite movies	Out of Africa, Hotel Rawanda, Bridget Jones' Diary, About A Boy, Dan in Real Life, So I Married an Axe Murderer and Billy Elliot; in no specific order
Favorite music	I am old school. No Country or Jazz.
Favorite books	I am always reading books that no one has heard about. My friends never want to read my choices. So I'll spare you. School is out:)
