Introduction A perpetually injured club runner turned keen amateur Time Triallist in 2014... 2017 was my breakthrough year; the season highlight being a silver AG UCI medal at the World Gran Fondo Championships, Albi, France. April 2018 I was hit by a car whilst out training and then we had the 'COVID times'. In 2021 I started to race again at the end of the season; culminating in a bronze medal in the Chrono at the UCI World Amateur TT Championships. To highlight the highs and lows of life and sport, I was hit by another motorist in 2022 sustaining a traumatic brain injury. By day I am a Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Specialist at Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service, with a particular interest in hydration, sports nutrition, sports psychology & the general appliance of science to sport.
Interests Cycling and cycling related products and events, sports nutrition, health, fitness, wellbeing, sports psychology
