Fierce Wolf is my totem name from a Native American like ceremony. I chose to use that name for this blog as it represents me well. Fierce as in the human strength of soul, passion and intensity. As in how Ram Dass describes dealing with a heart attack – as fierce grace. Or the fierce edges of life as David Whyte writes about. Wolves are one of many animal symbols in various cultures and in literature. Wolves need freedom and yet are still gentle and compassionate. The Wolf can be intensely passionate, generous, and deeply passionate. They represent a deep faith and profound understanding of life. They are also intelligent, cunning, communicative, friendly, loyal, and steadfast. |
