I teach first-year writing to college freshmen, adore stories whether they're true or not, and ramble off into theoretical and philosophical weeds whenever I'm given half the chance. In no particular order, I'm a vegetarian, a goth, a third culture kid, a feminist, a tree-hugging hippie, a wannabe yogi, a fan of the Spice Girls, a writer, a pack rat, a natural brunette, a mint enthusiast, a liberal, and a stress junkie.
