| Introduction | I am very happy to have the opportunity to serve as Principal of Castle View Elementary. Castle View has a wonderful community of staff, students, and parents. This is my second Principalship. I have been employed with RUSD for 20 years. I began my career as a Special Education Instructional Aide in 1989. I completed my credentials and began teaching at Adams Elementary as a Special Education teacher in 1991. I continued to teach in both Special Education and General Education through 1997 when I was hired as an Assistant Principal at Mt. View Elementary. I served three years as AP at Mt. View where I completed my Master's Degree in Education Administration. I was transferred to Jackson Elementary where I served two years as Assistant Principal. My first Principalship was Woodcrest Elementary where I served from 2002 - 2008. During my tenure at Woodcrest, I had the wonderful opportunity to open Lake Mathews Elementary. For one year, Woodcrest and Lake Mathews staff, students, and parents worked together as Woodcrest was tore down and re-built. |
| Interests | My family and I enjoy riding quads in the desert, camping at the beach, and watching football. My favorite team is the Chicago Bears. My husband follows the Arizona Carninals. |
