Introduction I am learning how to love God well and let that love flow through me to love people passionately. Its not easy and challenges me everyday. God asked me if I would be open and vulnerable, letting my life be an open book, and I said yes. This is a part of that journey for me. My purpose in life is to display Gods goodness. My heart is for every single person to see Gods love through the way I interact with them. That begins in my house with my husband and kids. Truthfully loving them well sometimes is my biggest challenge because they are the ones who see me day in and day out. They sometimes encounter my ugly and selfish nature that usually comes out of pure exhaustion. Those are the days when loving well really becomes a choice, and I am learning I have to be intentional about choosing to love them the way they need to be loved. This blog is all about my life right now. The things I am working through. My journey with God. My hope is that you will be able to relate to the things I post and maybe leave encouraged that you are not alone in the things you think about and struggle through. We were created to walk together, in relationship.
Interests Right now my interests include wine, dark chocolate, and sleep. Oh, and my husband. Talking to my husband uninterrupted by one of our 4 kids or our dog, Bella. This is all I have time to be interested in right now ;)
Favorite Movies The Notebook, Princess Bride, White Christmas, Footloose, Young Frankenstein, and Dirty Dancing
Favorite Music I do love good worship music, like Bethel, Jesus Culture, Hillsong... I also really like Taylor Swift turned up nice and loud when I am driving by myself. I also love to dance, so anything with a good beat. Every once in an "oldie" to throw back to my high school and college days when I was young and without the responsibilities of raising 4 kids.
Favorite Books My Bible. My favorite version is the Mirror Bible right now. Love Warrior by Glennon Melton Doyle Repenting From Religion by Gregory Boyd Those are the only grown up books I've actually finished in the last 13 years My favorite books to read with my kids are Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton, and Little Quack by Lauren Thompson.

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

I will hang out with my kids as much as I can, because they are constantly telling me when I'm wrong keeping me humble ;)
