| Introduction | Welcome to my blog. It's an eccentric mix of topics. I have spent my adult life as a pharma scientist. I started off in the biotech industry in the early 90's. From there, I've worked in about 9 companies across 30+ years. Most recently, I was in the gene editing space. My specialty is protein science. I'm a protein chemist. I purify, analyze, characterize proteins for either research or development. Then in 2023, I experienced a kundalini awakening, which opened up an entirely different perspective on who I am and how the universe works. In January of 2025, I was laid off from my job (one of many of thousands of unemployed biopharma workers). I've been struggling with what to do and settled on trying to start an ecommerce business selling scientifically themed or spiritually themed athleisurewear. Especially yoga clothes. I'm just beginning to learn how to do e-commerce. Its march harder than it looks!! Though, there's always a chance I could go back to industry. Everything is evolving as it should. . |
