| Introduction | I am currently a Fulbright Student Researcher and PhD candidate at Texas A&M University in the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Sciences department. I'm an NSF-IGERT trainee in Dr. Amanda Stronza's lab working with the Ecoexist Project on the anthropology/sociology of human-elephant conflict in the Eastern Panhandle of the Okavango Delta, Botswana. I spent three years as an agroforestry Peace Corps volunteer (2009-2012) in southern Cameroon, and worked as a project manager with the Zoological Society of London in Cameroon for two and a half years. I hold my MSc in Forest Resources from Oregon State and a BA in Biology and Religion from Dickinson College. |
