| Introduction | This blog is for a college course titled: Introduction to Developmental Disabilities. I've worked in the field for over 15 years now in a non-profit organization serving children and adults with intellectual disabilities. I've enjoyed each moment, growing and learning along side those that I've met. I've seen impossible things become possible and the power of love and understanding overcome the toughest barriers. I've added "adjunct Professor" to my resume recently and am excited to educate others on advocacy, belief, compassion, diversity and inclusion. |
