| Introduction | Cheryl's paintings are informed by her observation of and response to the environment through which she wanders. They are lush and imaginative paintings that inspire contemplation. Cheryl paints mostly from her Vancouver based studio in the Mergatroid Building but also from various artist residencies including le Moulin à Nef (VCCA France) in Auvillar France where she spends part of each year as Resident Director. Committed to making art a part of people’s lives, Cheryl teaches, acts as juror, mentor and has been involved in diverse community mural projects in hospitals, restaurants and public spaces in BC as well as in France. |
