Introduction | This site represents my personal opinions. (I've been known to have a few of those!) Been doing some form or fashion of data integration, data migration, data warehouse, business intelligence or advanced analytics projects since I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1980 with a Comp-sci degree. Today I am Managing Partner with Archipelago IS, a Denver-based consulting firm focused on improving business outcomes through business transformation and implementation of innovative analytics. Prior to joining Archipelago, I was a Director at Dell Services where I was instrumental in Dell's 1st Data Warehouse Appliance launch. I also worked to establish and subsequently run Dell's global BI Practice. I am a faculty member at the International Institute for Analytics (IIA), an instructor for The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI), Chapter President TDWI Dallas Chapter, Group Leader for the Informatica Dallas User Group and a guest speaker at local DAMA chapters across the country. I've been known to help Fortune 50-5000 companies implement and enhance their Data Integration, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics platforms. |
