| Interests | My first creative hobby was when I started cross stitch embroidery when I was a child. I did a little knitting but needed a lot of help from my Mum. I am pleased I have kept up the cross stitch embroidery and have recently been embroidering bibs, towels and baby grows for my friends children. I have recently attended a crochet class and have managed to create a couple of mobile phone holders. I am also attending a knit and natter group which I am hoping will help to develop my knitting and crochet skills (although I must admit there is more nattering than knitting. Hopefully I will be soon attending a quilting course where I hope to produce a memory quilt. With encouragement from my sister I have started scrapbooking and I am completing the project 12 challenge along with my sister and her sister-in-law. I hope to have some pictures up soon. other interests include reading, walking and watching sport. |
