| Introduction | A lifelong Kansan, Nick Jordan and his wife, Linda, have lived in Shawnee for more than 25 years where they have raised a family and own a small business. While in high school, Nick worked as a busboy at the old Glenwood Manor Hotel, beginning a 40-year career as a leader in the travel and tourism industry; eventually becoming the founding president of the Overland Park Convention and Visitors Bureau. For 12 years, Nick Jordan has worked tirelessly in the Kansas Senate growing our economy and lowering our taxes. Nick led the charge for the Kansas Economic Growth Act, Kansas Bioscience Initiative, and Kansas Entrepreneurship Initiative, which will generate 43,000 new jobs for Kansas families. The National Federation of Independent Businesses has named Nick a Guardian of Small Business. Nick Jordan is now running for Congress to wake up Washington and move America and Kansas toward a new day. |
