Introduction	1973 was a good year; in that year I was among the first graduating class of ADN's at my community college. Over the past 37 years, I've worked in numerous areas including Rehab, Med-surg, OR, Ortho, float pool, outpatient clinic, staff relief, home care, private duty, camp nurse, and agency office. For the first time I'm actually enjoying hospital nursing. I have also earned School of Life Specialty certificates in Childrearing, Applied Faith, and Abusive Spouse Management. I've learned to speak up and not let myself be too easily silenced. I have something to say, and never enough time in which to say it. Every day is a gift.
