| Introduction | I am a wine lover, born to and raised by wine lovers. When I was little, my mom used to pour my apple juice in a wine glass so that we could have cocktail hour together on the front steps. My dad planned all of our family vacations around vineyards. And my brother and I have found that a glass of wine makes our elder relatives so much more lovely (and tolerable)! Wine is so much of what makes me up, and I am grateful to all the gods and spirits of the vine who brought us this amazing vehicle for thought and exuberance! |
