Introduction Kevin is a researcher of politics, social movements, and rights defense. As part of his Master's degree in Chinese (from The Ohio State University), Kevin conducted a year of field research in Qingdao, China, looking at rights defense among workers there. Before that, he served a Fulbright Grant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, teaching English in local public schools. He also worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC as a Junior Fellow in the China Program. He has published in various outlets, including In These Times, ChinaFile, South China Morning Post, Foreign Policy, The Diplomat, china/divide, and RealClearWorld. He has been interviewed by CNN, WSJ, CNBC, NPR, NYT, The Guardian, NBC, Voice of America (Chinese), among others.
