About me

Introduction	I am so excited to kick off another school year here at MCPS! Although this will be my seventh year teaching, this is my third year in Pre-K and I absolutely love working with 4 year olds! Altough I didn't always think I would be a teacher, I am so thankful that God chose this path for me. I absolutely love my job and couldn't imagine doing anything else! In 2005, I earned my bachelor's degree in special education from UGA and my master's degree in early childhood special education from UGA in 2010. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ryan, and our 4 year old son, Brooks. I also like to decorate cakes, paint, and cheer on the dawgs!
