Introduction	I'm a mum of three wonderful kids and am married to a great guy. We homestead in Western Maine, growing heritage veggies and chickens. Our goal is to become as self-sufficient as we can. My son and husband are both on the autism spectrum (husband has Aspergers and son has PDD-NOS) and two of my children have moderate and severe hearing losses (and I, myself have a severe hearing loss) so I am becoming increasingly active in these two areas. My blogs will mostly focus on my family's unconventional lifestyle and our family quirks.
