| Introduction | A reporter at heart, journalist by profession and writer by passion! I worked with various media through my 36 years of career in journalism. I worked for Door Darshan, The Independent, Bombay Times, Maharashtra Times and retired as the editor of the most popular Marathi news site www.maharashtratimes.com. I was also associated with the All India Radio, Mumbai as a news broadcaster and script writer. Stories excite me, the reel and the real alike. I have translated two books from English to Marathi and working on more projects as an editor for a publishing house. After consistently writing a Marathi blog for past three years, I now want to communicate with a larger and younger audience through this Free Hit. I would be writing about the issues of political-social-economic-cultural relevance that emerge through current affairs. |
