| Introduction | We ask ourselves why we write, because it's such a hard road. Well I write because that's what I was born to do and if I don't I am extrememly unhappy. I spent too much of my life not doing the writing I wanted to do. Now it's my turn. |
| Interests | I'm a writer and have been all my life. That's how I earn my living and that's where my heart is. I am very interested in the future of the planet and social change and support the Green Party, Greenpeace, Amnesty International (I write for PEN's writers in prison rapid action network)and Oxfam. I am also becoming a singer and play the guitar. I am interested in rock'n'roll and swing dancing and walking and talking to people and art and fashion and design....not so much sport, but I love Iyenga yoga. |
| Favorite Movies | I used to love movies, but now I am rather impatient with other people's stories, unless they are very good. I remember liking Kiss of the Spider Woman very much, and I remember liking a short film called The Blue Car, but when I saw some of it recently it wasn't how I remembered it. Loved Dr Zhivago when I was young, and now I don't go to movies very much and am often disappointed. |
