| Introduction | Hi there. My name is Serena and I am a science writer in Canada. Just recently, my boyfriend Drew and I decided that we wanted to start a family. Since then, I have had so many questions that needed answering. I've decided to start this blog to start a Canadian community of people - people who are currently trying to conceive, people who are expecting, people who are raising their babies and/or children... and the list doesn't stop there. Any combination of family are of course welcome. Also, as a science writer, I would also like to post information on general health topics and topics that are making their way in the news. Basically, I want this blog to be a friendly shoulder to lean on when you are looking for answers or support and I want to provide everyone with accurate and relevant information that affects Canadians.
