| Introduction | I am a single mother and I am a scholar. I gave up a successful interior design business in 2007 when I relocated to Tucson, Arizona to attend the University of Arizona full-time. I am funny and smart...I'm just saying. My favorite fiction author is John Steinbeck but I mostly stick to nonfiction, especially crime and/or historical books. I have three amazing kids and if I can get their permission, I will post their photos. To get through school, I have worked as a server in a restaurant because I dig the people and the interaction. I was recently fired from my job with no warning and I am still crushed because I really miss the regular patrons who never forgot to ask about my kids and my school. Although law schools discourage 1Ls from working, I will probably try to line a little serving action one or two nights a week. The money is great and you can't beat the people.I make a killer cheesecake. I have an unusual fondness for maraschino cherries and Hershey's Special Dark. I ADORE pink and consider it my signature color. |
