Introduction You hear about it all the time. People going on journey's of self-discovery...of 'finding' themselves. They sell books, make movies, go on talk shows, and you just kind of take it for granted. I'm not going to say that this is what I'm setting out to do with this project. When I picked up this book from the bookstore, it wasn't my intention. It wasn't until I started reading it that I realized I may find something of myself in it. I don't think I realized at first how big of a project this might turn into. Basically, I found Noah Scalin's "365: A Daily Creativity Journal." At first I was just like 'oh way cool, ideas to get my creative juices flowing every day'. But really, I think it might end up being more than that. And that will be cool. Initially, I just wanted something to help get a handle on my anxiety. What better way to do that than creating? So this is my journey, whether I learn something about myself or not. 365 days. Oh. And I guess it's also prudent to mention I chose the idea of incorporating a spiral shape into all of my work. That's going to be my 'muse' I suppose. There's no deep seeded reason behind the spiral, just that I like it. :]
