| Introduction | Shakir Husain is an Indian journalist. He spent 14 years in the United Arab Emirates, working for Yahoo, Gulf News and The Gulf Today. He started his career at The Asian Age in Delhi in 1994. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Political Science from Aligarh Muslim University. He published a satirical novel, The Merchant King, in 2012. He lives in New Delhi. |
