| Introduction | I'm a semi-retired police officer living in a secluded equestrian community in the Santa Ana mountains, half way between Los Angeles and San Diego. I have one horse, Flash, who is a 14 year old paint. Flash and I do mounted patrol work, (which he loves), trail riding, (both competitive and for fun), and dressage, (to keep my wonderful wife happy). Flash will do dressage, but it is not his favorite activity. What he excels at is taking my tools and dropping them in the pond, removing the tractor keys from the ignition, and being the herd boss of our ranch. I've never "blogged" before, heck I can barely use a computer, I type real slow, and most of what I have to say isn't worth----. Hence, I decided to call my blog "Pops Compost". |
