Introduction	I like movies, writing, and books so decided to finally start a blog about writing about movies, mainly. I may throw in critques of television shows because there are some out there too good not to write about. My days are spent as a journalist at a community newspaper where I get to work mostly on my own, which I like the most about that job.
Favorite movies	Well, let's see. Anything Matt Damon, Sympathy For Lady Vengeance, Old Boy, Sympathy for Mr. engeance, Away We Go, Cyrus, The Good Girl, Fletch, Junebug, Lars and the Real Girl, anything by the Coen Brothers, Seven, Once, Office Space, The Town, Black Swan, The Wrestler, The Third Man, anything Woody Allen, Alfred Hitchcock films, Donnie Darko, The Science of Sleep, so as you can see my taste is all over the place and accepting of different genres.
Favorite music	Ryan Adams, Mumford and Sons, Chairlift, The Decemberists, Of Montreal, MGMT, Phoenix, Atmosphere ...
Favorite books	In Cold Blood, Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, The Glass Castle, No Country for Old Men, and I have a weakness for Mary Higgins Clark mysteries.
