| Introduction | Sally Dixon has a B.Sc. in Maths and Psychology and a B.A. in Music. She also completed a creative writing course and has had several articles and short stories published in magazines on both sides of the Atlantic, including The Portland magazine. She has also had a short story published in the Guardian newspaper in the UK which was syndicated and bought by a major Sunday newspaper. She has lived in seven countries and the inspiration for her first novel, came from three years in Cairo, whilst her second novel ‘A Dutch Affair’ was inspired by ten years living in The Netherlands. Sally and her husband Mike have just sold their busy Bed and Breakfast inVirginia and moved back to France [ www.whitefencebb.com ]. The White Fence is a very popular elopement wedding venue and over 200 weddings were hosted there over the past two years.
