Introduction	My name is Ranjani Iyer. I work at Pathways World School, Gurgaon. I have earned a PhD in Education and Masters in Mathematics. I have several years of teaching experience in USA and India. In the past, I have taught in schools with limited resources and rich in diverseness. My philosophy is to make learning fun. I believe that each student is unique and can learn in a safe environment. It is very important to understand and acknowledge the diverse learning needs of our students to promote learning. I believe that a teacher should be willing to learn and grow with the students. Understanding about the different learning styles of the students and using variety of hands on activities provide a stimulating environment for all students to meet their fullest potential. An effective educator needs to have a good knowledge about the content of teaching as well as instructional strategies. With fairness and patience, for being the best, a teacher needs to be open to trying new techniques and utilize technology to benefit the students and her teaching.
