Introduction | My husband and I joke that if I won the lottery, I would be a professional volunteer. Every cause seems to break my heart. I got to thinking that a lot of people would want to help if they knew what was out there to do! I used to use this blog to update on my life, but I started realizing that the blogs I was most passionate about writing were those that involved a charity or cause or mission. So, I decided to stop writing about myself and to write about others and how we can all help. Then, I thought about the power that we have as the 4th largest city in the country. So, here is place where I hope to spread some news about ways to pitch in. With 4 million people, we can make a difference. And, it starts with one person. |

You're trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky. Describe how you will escape.
Hmm with a goat and a slinky. Do I want to escape first of all? I mean there is not work down there...but I guess eventually I'd get bored. First, look up! How far is it? Are there craggy rocks that the goat could climb up? If it's not too deep, I guess you could stand on the goat and throw the slinky, and hope it catches on a higher rock. That way you could shimmy up it? How long is this slinky?
