| Introduction | Our journey of faith began in April of 2009. After several months of trying to get pregnant, I knew we were going to need some help because of health problems I have. I went to a fertility specialist and he started us on treatment right away. Early on, when I was worried about not being able to have children, God gave me the phrase "Journey of faith". I knew that this would be a hard process, but I also knew that He works all things together for good, and that He would be teaching us along the way. At first I thought He meant that I should have faith that we were going to have a child, but after the first round of treatments and a miscarriage He taught me that our faith should not be in things of this world. If we have faith that we will have a child, always have our health, be free from pain or hurt...then our faith will fail us. But if we can say that no matter what happens in this world, our faith is in Him...then our faith will never fail. No matter what happens to us, or doesn't happen, God is with us. And in Him is where Brandon and I have learned to put all our faith. In every battle we've faced, He hasn't failed us yet. He is with us every step of the way. |
