| Introduction | I'm 20, female, and I've been all over the world- that was a lie. I've been around the world, but not all over it. If you're still reading, I've lived in Iran for about a year, I studied in Iran for about a year, and I had many an epiphany in Iran for about a year. I've been about fifty feet from tyranny, and born in the arms of democracy. I'm a child of freedom swathed in the cloth of humanity and fed the fire of Prometheus. I don't think I'll ever grow up, however, I'm still in academia, still plying my trade as a student, and still enamored with the places that have shaped me. This blog is a simple escape for me to write about Iran, and what I saw through my eyes there. My blog was started in Iran, and up until 2006 that's where it stayed. Now, it's more of what I can digest now that I'm out of Iran. I think people misunderstand each other, and "ignorance is bliss" got it all wrong. Ignorance is not worthy of bliss!
