| Introduction | The Extended Diploma in Design Crafts is a L3 course at Cleveland College of Art & Design(CCAD)in Middlesbrough....it is a 2 year year course dedicated to 16-19 students, who wish to explore, experiment and develop their work, knowledge and skills, enabling them to become practicing designer-makers and applied artists, or develop these skills further through Higher Education.....the course enables students to explore with ceramics, textiles, resin, glass, and a wide range range of contemporary applied art materials, techniques and processes.....researching products and designer-makers within in the craft industries to allow them to develop, market and their own work within the niche of applied arts.... |
