Introduction | I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor‘s degree in Psychology. Prior to receiving a Master of Science degree in Education from Long Island University, I worked as an independent consultant providing home-based special instruction to children from diverse backgrounds and with various impairments and developmental delays. I am certified in the areas of early childhood education, elementary education, and special education. I currently work for a Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the United States. As a practicing Special Educator I treat infants and toddlers with or at risk for developmental delays. In this role, I often identify and refer children with speech and language disorders, cognitive impairment, sensory integration dysfunction, and autistic spectrum disorder. Passionate about early intervention, I am committed to providing parents with the necessary tools to actively help their children within the context of their own lifestyle. |
