Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Well, obviously expandability! I mean, expandability must encompass flexibility for it to work anyway. Think of a balloon. It has to warp its shape if it meets resistance. And gas in a container is an example of expandability without flexibility. See? So expandability is more important to me!
