| Introduction | The facilitator is a Registered Nurse and has been in the medical field for over 40 years. Throughout her years of experience, she noticed something was missing from the professional world. The caregivers had very little support for themselves, and were often running on empty (herself included). She and her husband decided to start a safe haven for those like herself, and C.O.P.E was born. Giving Compassion Fatigue workshops has helped her to start to reach out to the hurting community of caregivers. Judy and her husband Donnie offer workshops and support groups and have created a place for caregivers to come and relax and enjoy downtime and ongoing programs. |
