Introduction	Paul Hindsley will begin Fall of 2008 as an Assistant Professor in Environmental Studies at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fl. He received his BS in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana in 1999; his MS in Applied and Resource Economics from East Carolina University in 2002; and his PhD in Coastal Resources Management from East Carolina in 2008. Paul has worked with NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service, East Carolina's Center for Natural Hazards Research, RENCI at East Carolina University Center for Coastal Systems Informatics and Modeling, and the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation. Paul's teaching and research interests focus on coastal resource management, natural hazards, and applied quantitative methods.
