| Introduction | Owner/manager of FAFALI Gallery (Greenslopes). Prior to the gallery, worked in corporate HR as an Account/ Project Manager for some 12years.(BCom). Currently operate the gallery in conjuction with interior designing. To my surprise, old school friends (thanks for Facebook) remark that the creative gallery/ designing environment is where they always imagined I would end up – how little we know ourselves. My style – I never seem to answer this directly without going through my colourful cultural tapestry of experiences across 4 or 5 continents with my family growing up. Born in Ghana (West Africa), schooled in Ghana, USA, Zambia, Nigeria and Papua New Guinea. Also lived and/or visited: Ivory Coast, England, France, Netherlands, South Africa, Vanuatu, Malaysia, China and of course now living and working in glorious Brisbane, Australia (17years) My style is characterized by an afrocentric framework of traditional, organic & simple, yet classical and modern elements infused with luxury, with a gentle burst of colour and a hint of animal motif. |
