| Introduction | I am a graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) ceramics program and have recently re-located with my husband and young son to Vancouver Island. Much of my inspiration for my art is drawn from my Ukrainian background and my culture. I often tie in references to the genocide that took place in Ukraine during the 1930's. I feel my paintings are at their best when they have a message to convey, though the message may not always be obvious to the viewer. |
