Introduction	I love to go out to dinner with friends and take pictures of my food when it is beautiful! Actually, it doesn’t have to be beautiful, I just love to take photos of my food! Recently I’ve had some time on my hands and have found that I love to cook great meals too. I was laid off a few years ago and started watching a lot of the Food Network and learning how to cook different meals that I would have never considered before because I thought they were too hard or time consuming. I mean, who knew I could braise ribs and make Coq au Vin?? I had no clue. This makes the hubby happy! Since I love to take pictures of my food when I’m out with friends and post to Facebook, several of my friends have been urging me to blog instead so here I am! I’m officially a blogger! I hope you’ll enjoy my stories and my recipes.

Favorite books	Sarah's Key, To Kill A Mockingbird, Gone with the Wind, Diary of Anne Frank, Firefly Lane, Hunger Games series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, Same Kind of Different as Me....just to name a few. Should I admit I read the Fifty Shades of Grey series?? Nah.
