| Introduction | My name is Katie and I'm 17 years old. I've grown up around horses since the age of about 6, but I didn't start riding until I was 8 (couldn't convince the rents!). I had never owned a horse until late August last year. I bought Sebastian who is a 15.3hh Thoroughbred gelding with the biggest heart (and wither) known to humanity. Unfortunately, due to difficult circumstances, I've had to sell him on. I am now the official owner of my new horse "Tonto's Resolute Rule" a registered, purebred Quarter Horse, 15hh and only 8 years old. There's just one thing, I've never met him.. This blog began as a diary of the adventures Bass and I encountered, it's now somewhat a live journal that Tonto and I will update regularly to inform of our latest achievements... starting with meeting each other for the first time. Here's to what the future holds for us! |
