| Introduction | I was born and raised in southern NJ. All through out high school I was active in sports and community service. I graduated from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA in the spring of 2006 with a degree in economics. I worked in the business world for a little while and decided that was not the job for me. I decided to go back to school and obtain a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I will complete my degree in the spring of 2009. While working towards my degree I started to work at a school as a teacher’s aide. This is not a normal school. This school is a non-profit organization in southern New Jersey. The students are struggling with adjustment, behavioral or personality disorders. I have been there currently for over two years. I have also been employed at The Ski Bum in Glen Mills, PA since 2004. It is a winter sports specialty store. I have combined my knowledge of troubled children/youth and my love of snowboarding to write my debut book JC and Mr. T. |
