Introduction My goal in writing this blog is to answer to the questions I wish I had asked my granddad... I am a horseman, a canoeist, a Western movie historian, a genealogist, and a folk artist. My cowboy and voyageur legacy can be back-trailed for more than twelve generations in North America.
Interests My life's passions include horses, canoeing, trout fishing, art, Western movies, and studying family genealogy.
Favorite Movies Stagecoach (1939), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), and Man who Shot Liberty Valance, The (1962). I'm a big fan of John Wayne (the Duke) and John Ford.
Favorite Music Country and Western. My favorite singer is Don Edwards.
Favorite Books Everything written by: Charles M. Russell, James Willard Schultz, Frank Linderman, B.M. Bower, Will James, Elmer Kelton and Jo Mora.
