Introduction	The education system is in a dark place. I can say this with confidence, because I not only come from a family that is comprised of at least half teachers, but I have been working in the teaching trenches for the past four and a half years. Teachers tend to spend a significant portion of our free time, which is not a lot of time during the school year, complaining about their jobs; I can say this, because this is exactly what I do. This site is meant to be an outlet for educators to catch up on the latest news and share juicy stories and serious concerns; feel free to have a cocktail in your hand while browsing the site just to make it authentic.
