| Introduction | I'm a 43 year old Apostolic (5th Generation) Pentecostal Christian gay man. My domestic partner and I live in a small rural community in Central Texas. Our local UPC home church is very bigoted in their views on homosexuality so we don't visit because of their regular dogmatic rants on it. One day we hope to attend a gay Affirming Apostolic church, presently we try to attend R.P.I.'s General Conference every year. Daily my goal is to live one day at a time and try to smell the roses along the way. Most of our time is spent at home trying out new recipies and preparring some old standbys. Also, we love our Bible studies and singing worship and praise songs. David and I also enjoy watching news shows like Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, the Ed show and Lawrence O'Donnel. Our favorite TV shows are Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Dancing with the Stars, Survivor, Body of Proof, American Idol and Secret Millionaire. But, if we aren't doing any one or all of the above then you'll probobly find us at the gym in the pool. |
