| Introduction | Mostly written to let family and friends know what I am up to when I travel, there are lots of digressions on pop culture (I love bad TV) and sports (I REALLY love the Steelers). But it's mostly a journal of my experiences doing academic research in Kyrgyzstan and all the crazy adventures that can arise from just my bumbling around. I may even, at times, present some useful information on local social, political, economic, and cultural conditions. Or I might just take lots of vacations. |
