Introduction Family Law disputes and problems can cause horrible divisiveness and pain in a family and the resolutions (ie. going to court)should not cause more pain and hardship. There are better ways of resolving family law disputes, including mediation and collaborative law. As a trained Collaborative Family Law attorney and Mediator, I believe that no-court resolutions are almost always preferable to litigation. Both of these methods are out of court, respectful and considerate methods for people to reach solutions to their family law issues. See entries on the descriptions of Mediation, Collaborative Family Law and Litigation models for family law disputes.
