Claims to fame: Draw with Reshevsky, loss to Rossolimo, two losses to former US Championship competitor Arthur Feuerstein. Once met Max Euwe. Biggest chess thrills: Game annotated by John W. Collins published in Chess Review magazine. Witnessing an International tournament in Cleveland, Ohio in 1975 and several US Championships back in the days they were round robins and meeting the likes of Bisguier, Lombardy, Reshevsky, Browne, Soltis, Miles, Mednis and a host of others too numerous to mention. And of course there was the time I was browsing in Dr. Albert Buschke's used chess book store in New York City and Bobby Fischer walked in. I didn't actually meet him but did a lot of gawking.
